We have had our telly for 4 years, got a freeview box, what will we need when we go digital ? ie, new telly ,?
Answer:
No going digital really means the loss of the old UHF analogue channels 1 to 5. Or simpler to say that Freeview and Digital Satellite will continue as these are digital (DVB) products and will continue to transmit beyond the date when the analogue transmitters eventually get turned off. Your telly will continue to work as it is getting the digital signals via the Freeview box.

a digital telly (marked with the tick)
Or a special digital box
If your digibox gives you viewing now with the telly you have, that should be all you need. The ability to receive and transcode a digital signal and it looks like you have that.
You won't need anything - your freeview box will give you all the five old terrestrial channels plus whatever else is free in your area ! ! !
Nope - if the the freeview box works now it will see you right when they switch off the analogue.
Your freeview box is the digital part! So you have already gone digital...
Nothing, now just enjoy your free view TV.
You wont need anything new as you already have freeview (digital).
The TV's with the box and tick is to tell you that it has a built in digital tuner i.e. freeview.
