Can't use DVD player beside Verizon Fios?
It has an HDMI lead. We tried replacing the coaxle cable and that didn't work. The DVD players work on the other 2 t.v.'s without HD. Any accepted wisdom?
Answers: I'm not really sure why you are blaming FIOS... This is a simple matter between your dvd player and your TV. the Verion FIOS tv "shouldn't" be a factor....
When you read out HDMI cable... Is that the cable from the dvd to the tv.......from the cable box to the TV ?? Does the Verizon cable box you have support HD??
Like what the others hold said. If you are plugging it into a Different "INPUT" on the back of the TV... you'll entail change the INPUT selector for your TV. Does your DVD play transmits to the TV on a specific trench (3 or 4) IF your using HDMI from the DVD to theTV it is all digitial and no tuning to guide is required.
I'm sure once you figure out your configuration you'll it will work near Verizon FIOS.. it is just another TV provider freshly like the rest....
anywho hope this help
The only use I can see this happening is because any something isn't connected right or you are not going to the correct input to view DVDs.
