Is it okay to subscribe direct tv hdtv programming?

Answer:
juscallo is correct, right not dish has the best offering of HD channels, they bought VOOM a few seasons ago and now offer all their (voom's) hd channels and their own lineup. of course many of these are sports, if your interests lay elsewhere then you are a little short, eventually it will all be HD, this varies region to region when you add the local programming, some regions offer some local HD programming.

Direct TV has some good programming, and I like their menu designs better than dish, hopefully they will be increasing the HD offering in the near future.

Cable still falls short where I live.
I won't hold it against ya.
I would go with Dish Network, They have much better HD programming and equipment
I have Directv HD programming and it's great. They are going to be providing a lot more programming shortly from 2 new satellites.
