I'm wondering which type of HDTV would hold up the best with childish hands potentially touching the eyeshade. This TV will be in the subterranean vault family room contained by an entertainment cabinet, so it could be touched by kids (though obviously we will educate them to not touch the screen). The plasma TV's seem the most cup like to me, and LCD's appear more likely to be harmed by chance contact IMHO, but does anybody have a definitave answer? Thanks
Answers: Plasma is justly childproof, but even better is the OLD CRT TV set...Those are the most childproof TVs out there....
I'd procure a plasma one that hangs on the wall, out of get to ze little ones. There really aren't very plentiful screens that give somebody a lift to being fingered tremendously well... I know we hold an HD flatscreen and no ones aloud to even clean it beside a rag. With the plastic screen like that, even dust can score them.
