Best HDTV CRT TV?

New or used what model should I be looking for? Need a second tv 30'' +

Answers:    I have a Sony KV-34HS420 34" FD Trinitron WEGA HD-Ready CRT TV. It's over 3 years antiquated and the picture looks simply stunning. The sound on it is pretty righteous, and it displays not just HD great, but standard TV looks suitable too.

The negatives are that it take up quite a bit of space, but you know that already. It also weights over 150 lbs. The TV is "HD Ready" which way it does not have a built-in HD tuner. You will inevitability to feed it an HD signal via a cable or satellite box, or other external box.

The honest things, aside from the great picture and sound, is that it is ultra-reliable, have a lot of connections, including 1 HDMI port which I used, and these Sony CRT HDTVs are available dirt cheap on places approaching craigslist.org from people just now upgrading to big screens and not knowing what to do beside these older sets. I've see my model on sale for as little as $200. You could probably wrangle that down.

UPDATE: The KV-36HS500 is very similar to my model, except its the traditional 4:3 shape surrounded by a 36" TV. I would have no scepticism buying this one.
