Need opinion on the LCD tv on Walmarts front page of the black friday poster?

I really want an LCD or Plasma t.v. but can't really afford one. That seems resembling a great price for a 42" 1080p LCD. I have read profoundly of reviews on Polaroids 37" tv's only durable for a few months. Can anyone give me honest opions or facts on this demanding tv. Will it be o.k. or am I wasting my money?

Answers:    You're sources, regarding most Poloroid television are quite right. They hold a terrible reputation, and I wouldn't shift near one.

The Walmart model, regardless of the price is almost indeed going to be a dissappointment. Look for a better brand that produces a 720p/1080i. You'll have a better set.

1080p is the "hype of the year," but "hell might freeze over" past anyone broadcasts at that resolution. The ONLY reason to buy 1080p, at this time, is if you're going to view movies or play games on either Blu Ray or HD-DVD formats.

Take a look around at Circuit City...prospect each set beside your own eyes.....check warranty policies......and let your pocketbook be your guide. They i.e. circuit city and others will also guarantee the lowest price - even for 60 days after purchase.
