What Type Of TV's Have DVI Conectors?
Answer:
Older ones typically w/ 720p, some do have 1080i but now in days DVI is old school if you still have to use DVI you would need a HDMI to DVI cable which will transmit the picture w/o sound. Some tvs will have a 1080i/1080P component jack, they do have DVI to component cable, it really comes down to what the TV can input in that jack.
I have a Sony 42" LCD HDTV Grand Wega. It has a DVI connector on the back. My cable box ( Motorola HD/Digital) has the HDMI connector, so I got an HDMI to DVI Monster Cable, new, from Ebay for $ 57.00, and it works great, better than the component cables. This web link shows the new Grand Wega & Bravia Sony. The 46" Grand Wega has 2 HDMI inputs on it, & so does the Bravia.
