Which ruin of my TV antenna requests to point towards the TV broadcasting stations?
I required to know which end wants to point towards the TV stations broadcasting towers. I have an HDTV, And currently I own one of those powered tv antennas that sit by the TV that has rabbit ears, and I barley capture just a few channel. Will I get more stations using the big antenna? I also hold a powered amplifier, Is that good to use on the big antenna as powerfully. Thanks.
Answers: I couldn't get your picture, but reckon I can answer your question. I'm assuming you own a UHF/VHF antenna, so this one is easy. In broad, you need the rods to be at the vertebrae, and the long shaft with the small segment in front. HDTV can be a picky critter, so you'll enjoy plenty of trial and error setting up your TV. the best thing to do is permit your TV measure the signal strength and own someone constantly telling you what the strength is while you verbs and aim the antenna.
You may also want to make sure you own a low-noise amplifier as well. The digital stations are broadcast at such low level, a noisy amplifier will not permit your TV pick out the signals that well.
You will GET your stations next to that !!
Now, just point it similar to your INSTINCTS tell you to point it....pointy side towards your TV stations....

Point the small end towards the signal source. Try it in need the boosters first. They may actually inflict more noise than serve unless you have a low thud booster. Be sure to auto program your channels through your tv's menu to ensure you pick-up the most channel. Have fun!
