How close is 1680x1050 to 1080? Is it close?

Is it close or not realy? How close?

Answer:
Very close. The 1680x1050 can scale the 1920x1080 video down and you really won't tell that much of a difference. From pixel to pixel, the 1680x1050 screen has about 15% less pixels, but again - you'd be hard pressed to find the difference.
Well the 1680x1050 screen has:
1,764,000 pixels.
The true 1080p screen has:
2,073,600 pixels.
So thats roughly 300,00 more pixels which is about 547 pixels more height and width to the image which translates to about 1/3 more the resolution of the image.
So in fact a 1080p of 1920x1080 is actual about 25% more visual enhancement.
