Cheapest unsophisticated TV cable near straightforward no hassle installation from the cable company?

I live in Baltimore city and I want deep cable, I'm only going to be here for probably 6-7 month after i'm moving somewhere else for a while, so I don't want a contract.

There are only a handful of channel I watch, ABC, ESPN, comedy internal, discovery, and the other ones i dont really care.

What do you regard is the best deal for me? I enjoy Verizon DSL internet (so no comcast bundle =P )and do NOT own a HDTV. Any suggestions are welcome, I simply don't want to pay $50 a month for principal cable, and I rather not keep watch on them on the internet either. Thanks =)


Answers:    Comcast is the lone player in Baltimore City until the City wake up and reverses the 25 year monopoly established with predecessor firms to Comcast within 2009 if I recall.

The surrounding counties are delivery Verizon FIOS, a competitor to Comcast.
