UK: Why do some TV's own 30 or more channel?
Most TV's have a A/V or scart nouns for TV games, but even if 5 people contained by a house all have different games tuned in, that would equal 14, a DVD player next to an RF adapter (why would anyone do that) makes 15, Freeview alike way, make 16.
Why 30 or more channels?
Answers: The same model of TV can be sold and used surrounded by all PAL and SECAM countries (the solitary difference is it will have it's tuner counter to accept the varying PAL format for the country such as I, B/G etc. where on earth the sound is on a different frequency). This is pretty much everywhere except the Americas and Japan and a few other places that use NTSC. The different countries own a different amount of analogue channels that are broadcast and they have to make approach for new analogue ones (before digital took over) and because 50 or 100 presets just about takes up any memory, most TVs very soon have that to cover themselves. Also, they're not adjectives for TV channels they're newly presets where a frequency is save. Having this many mechanism you can plug in pretty much anything you approaching and keep it tuned so you don't enjoy to retune it. This includes every games console you own or a that a friend or someone brings round that doesn't necessarily sit under the TV for irreversible use.
Probably before Sky etc be around the TV makers thought that lone up to 30 channels would be invented?
Because we've gone digital via Freeview,FreeSat or subscribe to Sky. I used to contemplate 30 or more was silly but believe me, some of the BBC and ITV extra channel are just repeats, and the movie channel again though several of them, the same films are repeated over and over again so although in that seem to be seriously of channels there's not that much choice of what to see.
you would close to to know why your tv is capable of tuning surrounded by 30 channels, when contained by the uk there are one and only 5 channels to tune into to. This is a manufactors setting, as in that do not know ( in some cases ) which quantity of Europe they are going to, as some of are European friends have more channel to tune in, after the manufactors decided to to this.
