i have sat/dish tv (not cable), the remote use to work the volume and turn it sour and on, now it won't, will switch ch. only, get a replacement remote still doing the same. tryed several global remotes none of them will work either, adjectives controls work on the tv by hand. any suggestions?
Answers: Press the TV MODE button on your total remote

The instruction sheet that come with the remote is needed too...
You probably removed your battery if it's not working when you press the TV MODE button....
