Satellite or Cable for HDTV?

I know the service varies depending on the provider, but which one is easiest and cheapest to get/setup surrounded by terms of things i requirement to pay for.

Satellite confuses me, I have need of to buy a satellite dish and a receiver as capably, in PS pay per month for programmer?

And cable HDTV is in recent times a receiver and monthly right?

Does satellite donate higher ability signals, or does cable?

Any tips would be appreciated, i live in vancouver canada, and the three providers i be looking at was Shaw Cable, StarChoice and Bell ExpressVu.

Thanks!

Answers:    I'd budge with SAT (Dish or Direct,) depending on your choices concerning content. Wish that I could, but I have no line-of-sight.
