it has a 5 inch speaker. When I plug it into the external speaker jack on front of the Magnavox TV 3-way. I can barely hear the sound. If I put in a larger speaker, like a 7 inch, would the sound be louder.?? I need some help and ideas on this...
Answer:
the jack on the back of your tv just transmits a signal. what you need for your speaker to be louder is an amplifier. from the tv, to the amp, to the speaker, then it will be real loud. no matter how many speakers or how big they are, that you hook to the tv through that port, you're only going to get so much power. you need to get an amp for big sound.
