Can I use one cable box for two TVs? And if I could how I do it.?

Answers:    A cable box is a TV tuner. It takes the signal and converts it to an output a TV can use. This output can be surrounded by different formats, depending on the cable box. Most boxes have several different outputs.

You can lift the output of the cable box and go to as frequent TVs as you want. BUT!! all TVs will receive duplicate program. That is the program the box is tuned to.

To go to more than one TV, for RF(Coax) use an RF splitter
(very cheap available almost everywhere)

For Analog Video (Yellow lead hole or S-Video) you will need a Distribution Amp. (Radio Shack or similar store)

If High Definition and you enjoy only one output consequently you must buy a commerical high priced distribution amp, duplicate for Composite Video.

But if your Box has both an HDMI and composite video out you could use both. One output for one set, the other output for the other set.
You can near a splitter and extra cable. However, if the second tv is not cable ready, this will not work.
