I have a Mitsubish 35 inch TV that have worked great for a long time. Recently, the screen started to scroll when it be first turned on. This was more than ever evident if the blind display was white or mostly white. We unobserved that for a while, but now the TV is emit a screech (but not from the speakers - since we hear it even when the TV is on mute). Other than these problems, the color, nouns, etc is great. I don't want to purchase a new TV, but it have gotten to the point where we can not listen to the TV anymore. The closest repair shop requirements $100 to pick it up and another $75 to diagnose. Was hoping NOT to be taken advantage of close to that. Any ideas? And if so, is the solution something that a non-technical (but more or less mechanical) person could toy with? Or should I just bite the bullet and spend the money?
Thanks contained by advance.
