It does the same if I knock on it near my hand. It's a regular CRT set... not a plasma or LCD or projection. I know it's time to replace... and I will shortly... but until later, does anyone know what specifically might be wrong with it very soon? Thank you!
Answers: There is a loose connection, probably the ''yoke''.

With the set unplugged from the wall outlet (power cord) and wearing a leather glove (the picture tube stores a capacitive electrical charge) placidly check to see that the wires leading to the yoke are tight. With a screwdriver meekly check to be sure the screws are tight. Do not move the yoke as it will effect your picture.
