Sky RF out socket on my TV Set - Do I inevitability it?

My TV has suddenly refuse to come on. My SKY digibox lights up okay with the green and red lights, but my TV will not come on at adjectives. I have tried disconnecting my DVD player, but it still won't come on. I notice under the socket for my ariel on the stern of my TV that there is an "RF Out" socket. Do I want to plug the wire spinal column into this, as the other half is connected to my SKY box, or is this RF in recent times for attaching the DVD player?

What other things can you suggest may have cause my TV to stop coming on?

Answers:    If it actually does not come on here is a fault surrounded by the television itself.
Even if a box is not connected to anything, when you turn it on it will have abit of vivacity like the peak lights up, or the speakers make a hissing hubbub.
So if it is completely dead its yer tely.
If your TV works on analogue services, next it is not your TV at fault. Try the nouns advice trellis site below to see if you are connecting properly. There are two ways of connecting equipment; by scart lead, or by RF organize. Make sure connections are fully inserted.
