Is it normal that my LCD screen is really warm?

I just bought it Saturday, and it's my first ever LCD. I am currently watching the NHL playoffs in HD, is this normal that my screen feels hot? Thanks Yahoo community!

Answer:
Make sure the heat exhaust fan is running just inside the back, clean that exhaust grill & make sure your TV is no closer to the wall than 9-10 inches to give the heat from the lamp inside to escape through the vent in the back. Keep that vent clean.
Yes, light equals heat. LCD screens work by energising the liquid crystal display (LCD) they do this with electricity. The trade off is heat generated by both the electricity and light.

On the other hand if it starts smokin.. RUN
