"does anyone know about the vizio 32" lcd hdtv? can you please advise as I am looking for a affordable hdtv
Answer:
At sears where I work we sell it for 599. There is a reason for it, it is not as high quality as something like sony. Sony is the best, but the cheapest 32 in we sell of that is like 1200, double the price. So you can spend double the price for a reliable one, or take your chances buying one at half price. Personally, I'd buy it and take my chances, and if something goes wrong, you've got that extra unspent 600 to either take a chance again on the same type of thing, or use towards something more reliable.
After a year, there are no part sor support for the product.
So basically disposable..unless you buy a quality unit.
Sony
Toshiba
Mitsubishi
Pioneer
its crap.its an offbrand tv
I used to work for a company that sold a lot of these refurbished units. at the refurbished price they were a good deal, I don't know if I would spend a lot of money on a new one though. not sure about the sony thing, but I always heard they were the same as the olevia or whatever line from Tiger Direct/SystemMax. I would price them out, if you can get two refurbs for the price of one new I might go that route, then you have a backup.
