Sky TV in Dordogne. 18 months ago I got all UK bbc and ITV but now often get - no signal . Has sat changed?

I use a sky digi box - works perfectly in the UK and has done in France in the past. France location is in Bergerac . I use a 70(80) cms dish. Have the broacasts been moved to another satellite in the last 18 months or so? If so perhaps the dish needs to be re tuned in. Advice welcomed.

Answer:
dish should really be at least 90cm, try and get a lower noise LNB, but check alignment first, there will be some channels available because some transponders have a better signal, but typically BBC are the weakest ones now !
Check out the web-links below.
It sounds to me as if you have a problem with your dish, or the cable between the dish and the box.
If possible, take your box to a friends place who also has the UK channels and try it there. If it works you will know for sure that you have a dish issue.
I live in France and can confirm that there has been no change of satellite.
