Is Smellavision long overdue?

Actually, there was a smellovision created I belive in the early 80's or late 70's. It never made it but there was 1 for sale on eBay not to long ago..I think it would be a great idea now though!
BIG TIME overdue.
You know - that reminds me in the late 80's early 90's when they had this special on T.V. You could pick up these stickers at convenience stores that were scratch and sniff and went along with the movie. At different points in the show the audience was asked to scratch and smell specific stickers. That was about as close to it I have ever seen. I wonder if anyone else remembers that?
I'm sickened to think of all the people that watch horror movies.

Do we really need to smell our pcs? I use my imagination.
Actually, one movie, I forget the title, was produced to have scents added to the air handling system at certain times. The problem is clearing one aroma before the next arrives so that you do not end up with a bad smelling hodge podge. It would take a good filtration system.
No that would ruin the viewing of tv, unless..you could turn it off depending on what show you were watching which would be great cause you could be watching sound of music one sec then fear factor the next!
