Question in the region of ESPN HD?

i put on the ESPN HD channel and am watching a basketball activity right now. However, near are black bars on respectively side of the screen thats say ESPN HD sideways. Does that mean the program is not within HD, because the picture isn't taking up the whole peak.

Answers:    Not all content on ESPN HD is available within HD. If the game is not mortal broadcast in HD, next the channel will broadcast the regular picture (4:3 format) and cram up the rest of the screen beside the logo you're speaking of.
That also happens to me, I call my TV company DirectTv and they said that that is near because ESPN requires it.
