The popping is on all channel and volumes. I have turned the TV sour several times and restarted. Still popping. Any ideas on what it could be and if its an expensive repair? Thanks!

It looks you are have a problem in the peak circuit. it could be a minor condenser problem, normally cheap. but it could be also a problem on the peak it self. This would be an expensive repair.
You better consult a qualified technician.
