It a universal GM remote. It says it is compatible with Zenith TVs but when i entered the code and everything, nothing happens. But when i try the remote with another tv, it works. So is has got to be the TV right? Why could be wrong with the TV?

unplug tthe TV over night, it migth need to be reset. Also try a Zenith/Allegro universal remote. they are made to work with most Zenith with out programing.
If its a TV that has a dvd/vcr player built into it, those don't really work with universal remotes. If thats not the case, your TV's sensor has probably gone out.
