What is the life span of an LCD T/V compared near CRT models. ??

Answers:    "Theoretically" they have an INFINITE lifespan......

But the REALITY is that parts won't be kept forever to repair it. And manufacturer only own to keep parts available for seven years. A worthy company will keep parts for in the region of 12 years, then it get hard to find any.

So the lifespan of a CRT TV and an LCD TV set is certainly about like since BOTH require parts to repair them when they fail.....
all right sony web site claim,
that the lcd models are more feasible to out live their older models by 32 %

if that routine out to you,

no idea if it is true lately what i have read

It would depend I suppose, on how often they are not here on for. Mine is only on for around 4 or 5 hours a light of day, my computer monitor is on at least 12 - 15 hours a afternoon /365 and has be for the last 3 years - If I be superstitious I wouldn't say any more
