Basic Cable Question?

So heres my problem I connected the basic cable to my tv, which is something you must do to seize the picture................but when I turn on my tv the channels show but the channel that go from 24 and up enjoy a good resolution and the lower ones enjoy bad resolution...............I tried moving the cable a bit to see if that does it, but it didnt work.

Plus channel from 2-4 does not show at all, I really suggest they should....even if its bad resolution, when I progress down channels it go down from 6 to 99.

The cables seem to be ok, they are not in sharp curve or anything. I dont know what the problem could be, on my other tv which I also enjoy basic cable, adjectives channels show. So I really dont construe whats happening, I even tried to evolution the cable for a better one, but that didnt work either.


Answers:    It sounds resembling your TV's tuner is malfunctioning. If you hook-up a VCR or DVD player to the coaxial input of your TV and try to play them, does it work? The TV should be set to channel 3 or 4, whichever the VCR or DVD player output is set too. If it doesn't work, your tuner is hosed.
Be sure that the TV tuner is set to CATV, not antenna.
