I have get a LCD HD TV, and most times when I turn it on it does this hissing/buzzing sound coming from the rear legs. It can last from 10-60 second. I was wondering if it be "warming up" or if its a genuin hardware criticize.
Answers: LCDs are lit up by Fluorescent bulbs in the rear. Sometimes the ballasts can buzz. If it's disappearing quickly, I wouldn't verbs about it.
If you get the impression like it, play near the backlight settings, turning them up or down, to see if that will get rid of it or trade name it more noticeable. On my brand, some family complain of buzz unless they turn the backlight up to maximum. Luckily I am not having that problem.
more than feasible a hardware fault check your warranty and name manufacture
