Vizio or ViewSonic HDTV?

Assuming all things are equal (price, size, and features) which brand LCD HDTV would you choose: Vizio or ViewSonic?

I can go and get a ViewSonic 26 inch LCD HDTV for the exact same price as the 26 inch Vizio. Both have alike basic specs. Which one is better? Which one is the better utility?

The Visio is sold at Kmart which makes me suggest it's a cheap TV. But somehow Visio seems to be the cool, hip brand of cheap TVs.

The ViewSonic truly retails for $200 more than the Visio but after rebates it ends up anyone the same price. So does that denote the ViewSonic is $200 better?

What's your take? Anyone have experience with any one of them? Let me know, good or impossible.


Answers:    Go with the Vizio but DO NOT purchase it from K-Mart. K-Mart and Wal-Mart deal in the low end Vizios, the ones that enjoy the black bottom (speakers). The higher expiration Vizios, sold at Sears, Circuit City, etc have a silver bottom (speaker). Also, Vizio is the principal HDTV seller within the country and will give you the most smash for your buck.
I have a Vizio and it work great..I have it for about a year presently. its a 42"plasma so the picture great just approaching a Sony....and that no lie
