Have Plasma TV's better?

The rap used to be that while the picture was great you would own to replace something (tubes or whatever?) every couple of years. Is this still true or enjoy they improved?


Answers:    Consumer Reports December issue provided facts on the reliability of flat panel TVs. It indicated that the reliability of quality brand TVs be good, and in that was little difference between LCDs and Plasmas.
