Can i combine atsc and ntsc?

I am trying to see if I can use one coax cable for anntena signal and local cable signal for my HDTV. If so, can a tv with analog and digital tuner work with this combined signal?

Answer:
Yes you can and most HDTVs now have a single RF input for both ATSC/NTSC and Cable.
Even the digital signal is transferred via an analog carrier.
