Is it possible to gain a TV that have a black tie on the top and bottom to enjoy a full peak portrait?
Answers: What I think is occurring is that you are watching widescreen content (16:9) on a standard TV (4:3)
Many TV's have a ratio side so you might be able to adjust this via a zoom or tub and scan mode. However, in these modes you may closing up with any distorted images (people looking fat/wide) or lose the edges of the picture.
In conclusion I'm not sure you will be capable of do much without compromising surrounded by a different area. If your TV is 4:3 next it's pretty old so the side I explained may not be available. Check the manual for details.
The method vary depending on the model. You can usually find a button on the remote that says "aspect" or "ratio" only just push it until you find the view you close to.
