i have aquired a tv its a couple years old...but when i turn it on it clicks but no picture?? what could be wrong with it? and how much in a general area would it cost to get it fixed...$50? $100? $200? its a hitachi...50fx18b lol

Im guessing it is an old projection TV, 50 inch, id say probably 250-300$ because it sounds like the lamp is the problem
You did not say if you have audio, but if it is an older projection set , it is not likely that all three prt's are bad. Sounds like a power supply problem, with no more info then you have given. Call a local TV service center and get a quote. Most big screens are serviced on site, for obvious reasons. Service rates very so much around the country I can't give an estimate.
