I get that adjectives the time with my Freeview box. I don't use my rooftop mast, just the set-top one as I live contained by a direct line to the local TV transmitter, which is solitary a few miles away. I have notice that the signal has be very doomed to failure of late - in the main on BBC 3. Try your rooftop aerial (if you are not already using it). That should modernize your signal.
What's the make and model? It could be a certain issue with the current firmware on the box, regretfully Freeview boxes can be flaky at best and at worst just plain crap.
I'm not sure if there's any sort of master reset available, but if in attendance is, try that, that'll at least bring you back to factory settings which should achieve it working again, there could hold been an Over-The-Air update to your box which broke your culvert guide.
The fact that it's only with a few channel...Freeview channels are broadcast contained by groups, so usually if you lose one channel from a group, the total lot are gone. Losing just one wedge of channels could be to do near your signal strength, which is dependent on the weather and which transmitter your aerial is pointed at.
