I obligation Closed Captioning, so how can I open remote's settings from HDMI HDTV, to Component settings that work?

Technician set up HDTV with HDMI cable, to see DVD. Unfortunately closed captioning doesn't work. So trying to reprogram using component setup RCA cables, and no dvd - but still, no CC which I necessitate. TV works fine when not on Explorer 3250 HD box, ie I get cc. So - problem still must be surrounded by remote's setup, but what else needs doing? The remote is Atlas Rogers DVR/PVR 5-device. TV is Panasonic LCD TC-32LX700.

Answers:    First of adjectives, no TV has a closed title decoder for HDMI.
And, if you want closed captioning decoded from component video, you will just be able to use 480i resolution. Anything OTHER than 480i at the component inputs will not hold closed captioning on it. If you're using anything other than 480i component, the closed captioning MUST come from the source device, ie. Explorer 3250 HD box or DVD player.
I hold motorola cable box and with mine you turn past its sell-by date the box but not the TV then press menu to be exact where my CC option are make sure you choose settings for digital service as ably as analog.
