Believe it or not, Samsung LCDs and Sony LCDs are made contained by the same factory. A couple years ago Sony tied with Samsung to bestow them a good skipper start in the LCD souk. At the moment, I am looking at a Samsung 46", but I believe that Sony has other produced the highest talent televisions. If I could afford it, I would distinctly get a Sony Bravia XBR3 or XBR4. Like mentioned above, you can check cnet but they recommend some pioneer tv's and I've other felt that they aren't at matching level as Sony. I bought a Sony Vega 36" XBR surrounded by '01 and almost seven years later, it still have a better quality picture than most screen I see today. Hi, Check out Olevia they manufacture their own screen. Check out in being at Targets they are awesome. For the money in my assessment they can't be beat. Good luck mstrplmber.
