We have a fine RCA Floor model wood consule that we got from my wifes lifeless aunt. It got hit by a power surge and will not come on. my wife want's to enjoy it repaired for sentemental reasons. Should we do this and how much are we looking at. I suspect the power supply is gone.

Also, you should get an electrician to put power surge protector any at your meter, or at your breaker-box.
I installed mine at the breaker box and they are a life and nouns saver.
