i know that these cables are digital so you either get the signal or you don't, so gold plates and the type of cable it has doesn't really matter, so what im asking is there really a difference from those cables at monoprice.com from those monster ones??

They'll tell you the gold plated ones 'conduct' the signal better, which is at best a half truth; Gold IS a better conductor, but in reality you wont notice a difference. Go with the cheaper ones and don't buy into the marketing hype.
It matters even more, Consider that digital signals are still electrical, quality connections, surface contacts, EMI shielding are very important in digital signals because digital electrical signals are much more susceptible then analog signals.
