Answers: A "speciality" in-flight is not essential.
There are many aerials immediately marketed as digital aerials etc, this is basically marketing hype, they are no different than any other tv aerial.
What you may in actuality need is a larger (normal) transmitter with better signal gain. For the time mortal digital Freeview signals are transmitted at a lower power than standard analogue tv signals so that is the use some people, close to perhaps yourself own reception difficulties. Nothing to do with your airborne not being digital organized etc.
Have you checked your postcode with Freeview - not everyone can recieve it!
