I have a Samsung # 4661 1080P T.V When I enjoy anything hooked up to the component inputs on the t.v ( there are 2 sets of them) I take these colored bars that scroll up my eyeshade. I have be told that these are called " hum bars" which resources that there is a grounding issue. I own had the cable company out 4 times. They hold checked everything from the T.V to the pole but , can't find any problems. They have tried 3 different cable boxes ( 2 D,V.R's and a standard box) but nought helps. I own had Circuit city"s service dept out and they said in that wasn't anything wrong with the T.V. Last weekend I took the T.V put money on and got a latest one, the new one does impossible to tell apart thing. ( the first t.v have this problem from day one) HDMI works great on it and If I connect the coax directly to the T.V I don't enjoy this problem. If I hook up my DVD player to the component inputs on the T.V , I have the problem. I enjoy even tried a different set of component cables . Any philosophy on how to fix this problem?

you might need a ground loop isolator, it go inbetween the cable in on the box and the box.

You can also shift to the library and get schematics on a range of electronic products. I do not know if your TV would be there or not.
The problem may be beside the DVD player, not the TV.
