I own a venturer tv lcd a bought out of argos cant get hold of the code from sky to turn volume up n down any 1 know?
Answers: this can be as easy as trying a different code or relatively difficult to explain without showing you.
you know when you do the code input entity the first time you set up the sky remote for your tv? ....
when you have finished you should first of adjectives use the sky remote to switch on you tv.
then check your schoolbook then check the concentrate up and down then the volume.
if these are ruined do this:
re-enter the code on the remote and do the same point with the 'tv' and 'off' that u did the first time.
DO NOT TOUCH THE SKY REMOTE when you enjoy done this use the tv's own remote control to switch the tv back on.
later press 'tv' and 'off' again. repeat until the tv goes bad, when it goes stale try the sky remote again and try the text and volume etc.
if this does not work start again, with the sole purpose this time when the tv goes past its sell-by date the second time use its own remote to turn it back on again and next do the 'tv' and 'off' thing again.
i bought my tv from sky and have the same problem, singular to find my telly is an hitachi have a look on the hindmost of the tv for the code or the official cause of it you may find you have like problem as me and that it is a different make altogether than what you thought you have bought.
