My plasma tv (Panasonic )makes an intermittent clicking sound when it is on. Any ideas?

Answer:
It would be better if you state what you have connected and how. I work for a large TV company (not panasonic) we have run into this clicking sound what we have come to find out many times, if you have an HD cable box connected with component cables this tends to happen to test this (if this is how you are connected) remove only the green component wire you will lose the picture but if the popping stops its an issue inside that box if it doesnt it may be the tv...and its only happening on our tvs with this set up
It appears to be a known problem with no workarounds. The only solution I have is to just unplug the powercord and plug it in when you want to watch it.
We have a Panasonic Plasma. Not had any problems like that, what has an engineer said I would be interested to find out just in case.
