Sharps are junk. Especially the Aquos line, the display panels are known to seperate causing a extra shadow in the picture.
Go with Sony if possible, if not the Toshiba will be 2nd best.
Personally, I would go with the Sharp, but it's really a tossup. They're both pretty decent brands. Keep in mind that Sharp invented the LCD television. They know what they're doing.
