I have a Phillips tv how do i get the cc off? HHHEEELLLPPP?

Answer:
Huh?
Oh boy ! do you mean how to get the back cover off ! some of the Philips where I am at least were real bastards to get off as they are sort of clipped on , you poke a screw driver in to the hole where the clips and push prise and lever and it comes undone so you then try the same with the next clip then as soon as you pull the cover the first that you undid clicks shut again !!. You can feel rel stupid telling the customer that you can not get the back off the Tv to repair it !!. Oh happy days !
Answer---- no I never did find out how to do it properly , you have my sympathies.
Cheers Pete
PS. Fecomosis might know as he is a Philips fan !!
Stone me is that what he meant cc ,closed caption ? silly me but its still true about the back covers !
Close Caption(CC) can be removed by going into your menu of your TV programming and Enable or Disable. Not familiar with a Phillips or what model no. it is, most Menus have a section to be able to switch CC Off or On along with SAP. Look for it on your screen using the remote.
