What is cause the "popping" (and or) "muted sound" coming from my brand clean Vizio LCD 32" HDTV!?!?!

I own a brand new Vizio 32" LCD HDTV.

My cable provider is Time Warner.

The "popping"/"muted sound" is contained by and then out contained by a split second and is very annoying. It happen on both analog and high definition channel. The sound is much more adjectives and abrupt on ESPN (during games).

Is this a problem next to connectivity/TV/or signal input from service provider?

It is very annoying and I am afraid it is is going to ruin the TV/speakers.

PLEASE HELP!

Answers:    Fortunately I enjoy and answer I service Visio Model LCD and Plasma sets for a living this problem occurs and usually an updated mainboard is the solution. (The mainboard is the board that adjectives the video and audio inputs connect to), Visio is very upright with getting the TV serviced if it is still underneath warranty. If not under warranty the problem can well be fixed. I don't really know if Visio does out of warranty work, although even if they did the price would be rediclous and would deter you from getting serviced with them. Another selection would be to get it serviced locally or distribute it to a private electronics technician like myself.

Bummer. I would check adjectives of the connection wires run out to end for extreme crinks (or signs of crinking) and separation at the connectors. If it adjectives looks good, and adjectives of the connections are tight I think your speakers might be defective. Some retailers will manipulate the issue for your, either taking within the set for repair or replacing it for you. Others require you to contact the local servicing center for the brand, which could be miles away. They may offer to money for shipping or reimburse for shipping depending on what they determine the problem to be (theirs or yours, basically).

Most likely it is the SIGNAL....but a style to check it is with a DVD player on one of the Video inputs, and next a VCR on the RF connector, and set to Channel 3.....

If they sound flawless, then you can bet the signal is on the blink....

As long as you don't have it turned up full blast, it won't hurt your speakers..
