To UK Consumers - if I purchased something and it's reduced within 7 days...?

We brought a large LCD flat screen t.v less than a week ago for a large sum of money - tonight i've seen adverts and checked on the net and the same store is offering the exact same t.v for £200 less as a bank holiday deal!
Can I go back to the company and ask for a rebate on the £200 difference? I obviously have all receipts proving that the item was purchased from themselves.

Answer:
No you can not , imagine the chaos if all previous buyers of a product that is now on special wanted a rebate !!
