Which is better plasma or lcd tv , and what is the differnce?

The first two posters here are "misinformed" about plasma vs. LCD! Do a quick search on the following to see the differences yourself:

lcd is the better choice it will last longer the plasma only have about a 10000 hour life on them
the picture quality on lcd is much better and will go on forever
some of the old plasma tv's need to be topped up and dont have a very long life
