I used an Svideo cable to connect my Vid Card to My TV... HELP!?

I used an Svideo cable to connect my PC's video card to my TV. The resolution is fine, but I'm not getting any color to my TV. I'm trying to watch streaming video from the net on my TV, but they adjectives look like reruns of Green Acres because I enjoy NO color!

I've tried visiting websites and I've changed every display setting that I know of, but I'm still stuck within TV land.

Is nearby a setting that I missed, does anyone know something I don't know?

Max points to whoever can help me solve this please!

Answers:    Try a different S cable. S carry luminence (black and white) seperately from chromanance (color) information. Sounds like a flex may be broken inside your S cable, or an end might be bent or broken. Check to be sure nearby are 4 pins on each train of the cable and that none of them are bent. If one of the pins is bent/broken and it is on the chroma side, you will see black and white only.
It could be the cable or it could be one of the connections on the equipment. If you can try a different device such as a VCR or DVD player. This will confirm or isolate the problem to the cable or TV. (If it works beside the same cable on a VCR next the problem is with the pc)
