What do i entail to purchase for my hd tv?

it is a 42" 1080p hdtv. it has 2 hdmi inputs, also have component jacks. i am going to get an hddvr, but what should i carry hdmi or component? why?

Answers:    HDMI is the future. It carry both the video and audio in 1 cable.

Some associates would say component wont work for the best resolution of HD (1080p) but this is un-true. Good HD cables work find for adjectives of the signals.

But good component cable are about $50 from BlueJeans and you entail to add an audio cable. The same length HDMI cable is $38 and no audio cable are needed.

So HDMI is cheaper, carries both video and audio so thats why I suggest you stir with a HDMI hookup.
HDMI would bequeath you the best picture. Component video would be my next choice.
