Will HDTVs take cheaper since the deadline?

I am in the flea market for two HDTV sets. One for the living room and one for the bedroom. I would hate to pay cheque 799.00 for a TV that will be 500.00 in a few months.
Will they maintain going down, or will they flatten out before the february 09 deadline?


Answers:    Well yes and no....prices do not come down, but the HIGH END TV of yesteryear slowly slides from the TOP price to the lower prices as time take it's toll.....

Yesterdays 1080P Tv sets have be replaced by Todays 1080P with 120Hz stimulate rate TV sets.....

It just dropped one dimple....

And all the others did too....

So you'll probably find elder 720 P models at the bottom and given a year or two, you'll eventually find that 1080P TV sets are the cheapest and the LASER/LED TV sets are the top of the line.....

This is lately the way it is.....
